Class Schedule Policy

Framework for daily and weekly class timings for Quranic studies, Islamic studies, and core academic subjects at Madinatul Uloom Madrasa & Orphanage.

Purpose of the Class Schedule

The class schedule is designed to balance Quranic memorization, Islamic studies, and essential academic learning, while maintaining a healthy and manageable daily routine for students, especially orphans and underprivileged children residing in the institution.

Standard Daily Timetable (All Noorani Levels)

This timetable follows common international practice for primary-age learners: clear lesson blocks of 30–45 minutes, prayer-integrated breaks, and a balanced mix of Quranic, Islamic, and academic subjects. Exact times may be adjusted seasonally, but the structure should remain consistent.

Standard Daily Timetable (Hifz Stages)

The Hifz schedule is designed around internationally accepted memorization practice: new lesson (Sabaq), same-day revision (Sabaqi), and long-term revision (Manzil), with structured time blocks for each Hifz stage.

TimeActivityNotes for Teacher
Fajr – 7:00New Lesson (Sabaq)Fresh memorization when mind is strongest; focus on accuracy and Tajweed.
8:00 – 9:00Same-Day Revision (Sabaqi)Students repeat new portion multiple times; teacher listens in rotation.
9:00 – 10:00Old Lesson (Manzil)Long‑term revision from previous Juz; track mistakes in a register.
After DhuhrSilent Revision / Individual PracticeStudents revise assigned pages; teacher checks weaker students.
After AsrGroup RevisionCircle recitation; peers correct one another under teacher supervision.
After MaghribOral Listening / TestingTeacher hears full pages or rukoo's; record daily performance.
After IshaLight Revision & DuaShort revision and collective dua for Hifz preservation.

Hifz Preparation Stage

Extra time on Nazira, Makharij, and Tajweed before full-time Hifz begins.

  • Daily 1–2 hours Nazira with strict Tajweed correction.
  • Makharij drills using short surahs and selected rukoo's.
  • Weekly fluency test (at least 1 Juz read without major errors).
  • Students only enter Stage 2 after passing a structured oral exam.

Initial Hifz Stage (First 5–7 Juz)

Lays a strong foundation for memorization with small, highly accurate Sabaq.

  • New Sabaq limited to 3–5 lines per day.
  • Equal or more time given to Sabaqi and Manzil than to new Sabaq.
  • Daily teacher sign‑off; no new Sabaq if previous portion has errors.
  • Weekly test on at least ½–1 Juz with written progress report.

Intermediate Hifz Stage (Middle Juz)

Memorization pace increases while strengthening long‑term retention.

  • Sabaq increased to ½–1 page per day depending on ability.
  • Minimum daily Manzil: ½ Juz; stronger students 1 Juz.
  • Weekly full‑Juz revision from earlier Ajza (rolling schedule).
  • Mistakes logged in a register; repeated errors trigger remedial sessions.

Advanced Hifz Stage (Last Juz)

Focus shifts from completing Ajza to achieving near zero‑error memorization.

  • New Sabaq only given when previous 3–5 Ajza are stable.
  • Daily Manzil prioritised (1 Juz or more as capacity allows).
  • Teacher conducts surprise spot‑checks from any Juz already memorized.
  • Students trained to lead Salah with selected surahs confidently.

Complete Qur'an Revision (Dawr‑e‑Qur'an)

Final consolidation phase to ensure strong, exam‑ready Hifz.

  • Daily Manzil of ½–1 Juz with strict error‑count thresholds.
  • Programmed completion of multiple full Qur'an cycles in this stage.
  • Weekly or fortnightly mock exams following formal Hifz exam style.
  • Final certification only after passing comprehensive oral assessment.
